The Solutions Project
The Solutions Project is a non profit organization dedicated to creating a world powered by clean energy. Founded by actor Mark Ruffalo alongside leaders from the science and business communities we entered into a multiyear engagement to create culturally relevant, public facing programming in the form of live events, fundraisers and various, elaborate stunts – often paired with a video production documenting the experience.

All of NYC in a Garden - 100% Campaign Launch
The Solutions Project kicked off their 100% campaign in New York City, and we were tasked with producing the launch event. The challenge was to locate a venue, and fill it with clean energy, human energy, and quintessential New York City energy. The venue we chose was a beautiful community garden on New York’s Lower East Side. Our guest list included some of hollywood’s biggest stars and programing included rousing speeches by actors Mark Ruffalo and Leonardo DiCaprio. In between, guests were treated to performances by legendary NYC subway performers, New York Pizza with a solar twist, musical performances, and, towering over the garden, a five story mural was painted live by artist Zio Ziegler which, today, has become a landmark destination for street art enthusiasts the world over.

The Daytona 500 is not where one would typically expect to encounter clean energy messaging, which is all the more reason The Solutions Project saw it as an opportunity to get their important message in front of an entirely new audience. Alongside race car driver Leilani Munter, we produced a weekend long series of events culminating in a television commercial that was broadcast during the Daytona 500 to tens of millions of NASCAR enthusiasts.
